NDT Technician
AET is a company providing technical expertise in nondestructive testing across various industries. The NDT Technician will perform examinations, interpret results, maintain certifications, and assist with project coordination while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Perform MT, PT, UT, RT, and VT examinations
Interpret results and prepare reports documenting results
Maintain certification in MT, PT, UT, RT, and VT inspection techniques
Maintain current procedures and equipment calibrations for the NDT department
Maintain client contact for ongoing projects and interface with the NDT manager to prepare proposals, schedule laboratory and field testing activities
Assist coordination of full-time and intermittent field projects by AET personnel, including reporting and invoicing

Assist in the promotion and marketing of AET and the NDT department
Training to obtain and maintain certifications
Stay abreast with current NDT technologies utilized by AET
Conduct field, laboratory and office activities in a manner consistent with federal, state, and local regulations, along with AET’s QA and Health and Safety Policies, to promote the safety and protection of employees, clients and the public
Ability to interact successfully with a wide variety of people, work effectively within project teams, resolve issues and problems in a constructive manner, and work independently in the field
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Maintain valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Some positions may require use of personal vehicle for company business
Maintain compliance with DOT driver regulations if required for position
Maintain appropriate physicals if required for position
Ability to meet the requirements for Assistant Radiographer and be working toward ASNT-TC-1A for UT, MT, PT, and RT methods
Preferred
Associate Degree in Non-Destructive Testing Technology or Welding Certification
