Manager (Finance & HR/Admin)
Doosan Enerbility Co. Ltd. is a reputed Hydropower Company seeking a Manager (Finance & HR/Admin) to lead project finance and administration for a large hydropower project. The role involves ensuring compliance with Nepali laws and managing finance, HR, and general administration for the project.

Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, cash and bank reconciliation, expense verification and monthly closing for the project office
Prepare and monitor annual and periodic project budgets, forecasts and cost reports, coordinating closely with Project Director, Cost & Planning team and Head Office Finance
Ensure timely compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements (TDS, VAT, income tax, withholding, submission of returns) in line with Nepali laws and internal guidelines
Manage payments to contractors, suppliers and staff, maintaining robust internal controls, documentation and audit trails suitable for a hydropower construction environment
Oversee HR administration including employment contracts, personnel records, leave and attendance, timesheets and basic payroll inputs in coordination with site HR/ESHS team
Coordinate recruitment support, onboarding and separation formalities for project and support staff, ensuring alignment with Nepali Labour Act and company policies
Manage general administration for the project office and site (office facilities, utilities, logistics, accommodation coordination, vehicles, stores and communication)
Facilitate effective communication between Kathmandu office, site office, and senior management, using English (and other working languages, if applicable) for key correspondence
Prepare periodic financial and administrative reports for management, auditors, client/owner and lenders as required
Support internal and external audits and ensure implementation of agreed recommendations within finance and admin processes
Coordinate with project management, contractors, consultants and government offices on matters related to finance, HR/admin and statutory compliance for the project
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in management, Finance, Accounting or related discipline (master's preferred)
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and administration, with substantial exposure to large construction or hydropower/infrastructure projects
Proven experience in Nepali accounting, tax and statutory compliance; experience with international contractors or EPC projects will be an added advantage
Strong HR/admin coordination experience, preferably in site‑based or project‑based organizations
Strong leadership and team management skills in a multicultural, site‑based environment
Advanced skills in MS Office and accounting software; experience with ERP systems preferred
High level of integrity, attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure with strict deadlines
