Zentech Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Technician who will be responsible for interfacing with customers regarding quality issues and analyzing production data for improvements. The role includes preparing documentation for submissions, conducting internal audits, and collaborating with production and purchasing teams for process enhancements and supplier performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

Interfaces with customers regarding quality-related issues
Analyze production/process data to determine areas for improvement (SPC and capability)
Organize/prepare First Article documentation for submission (includes AS9102, PPAP, etc.)
Organize/prepare data packages to send with daily shipments
Works with production to develop plans for process corrections and continuous improvement
Conduct AS9100 internal audits
Participate in New Product development meetings
Works with purchasing to select new suppliers, monitor supplier performance, including issuing and managing the SCAR process when necessary
Be a resource for Quality Department personnel, concerning skill enhancement, upgrading, and promotion of a positive and open working culture
Other duties as assigned

Required

4 year degree or equivalent experience
Three years of professional experience in the inspection and certification of a variety of supplies, materials, and equipment
Knowledge of Quality standards and general requirements (ISO 9001:2015, AS9100)
Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques (8D)
Knowledge of process continual improvement tools
Knowledge of Basic statistics
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite
