Responsibilities
Kick off and oversee the development of seasonal materials
Collaborate with design partners and suppliers to ensure technical accuracy
Manage the material testing process to ensure quality and performance
Work closely with a team of approximately 10 direct team members and cross-functionally with 7-10 other groups
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a materials development role
Bachelor's degree required
Textile development background, particularly in creating fabrics for outerwear and bodywear
Trim experience - less important than the textile development background, but still required (developing zippers, elastics, patches, etc.)
Proficiency with tools such as PCX, Miro, Smartsheets, and PPS
Organized and detail-oriented
Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
PMP certification or similar certification indicating capability to manage complex work
Experience in developing performance materials, including swim-related materials
Preferred
Previous experience with similar brands is advantageous
