Responsibilities

The Department of Internal Medicine at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine has temporary faculty positions for the various sub-specialties of Internal Medicine
Sub-specialties of Internal Medicine include Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonary, and Rheumatology
Faculty positions are available at the titles of Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor, Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor, Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor and Research Professor
These part-time, temporary faculty positions may have teaching, clinical, research, and administrative duties
Positions are 12-month fixed term appointments
Position will remain open and applications remain active until 12/31/2026

Qualification

MDDOBoard CertifiedPhDResearch ExperienceTeaching Skills

Required

MD or DO from an appropriately accredited institution, or completed foreign medical education accepted and recognized for ECFMG Certification
Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of North Carolina
Board Certified or eligible for board certification
Research faculty must have a minimum of a master's degree for the internal medicine sub-specialty which they want to be considered
Must have the appropriate respective license to work in North Carolina
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred

PhD is preferred for Research Faculty
