The role involves sourcing and managing suppliers for steel and fabricated components, while gaining hands-on experience in supplier management and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

Working with commodity buyers and managers on purchasing-related projects

Interfacing with supply chain functions such as product development, materials management, logistics, and supplier quality

Conducting project-based material aggregation for purchased production parts shipped into CNH plants

Soliciting supplier proposals for purchased materials and evaluating responses

Performing total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to identify cost-reduction opportunities for purchased components and materials

Assisting with the sourcing of new material requirements to support CNH production plants
