Responsibilities
Welcome and check in consumers, answer general questions, manage phone calls, and direct individuals to appropriate staff, departments, or resources. Maintain an organized and professional reception area with relevant consumer materials
Provide assistance with data entry, updating consumer files, managing appointment schedules, preparing documentation, and supporting insurance and medication assistance processes. Help manage office inventory and ensure confidentiality standards are met
Conduct initial screenings to assess consumer needs and refer consumers to appropriate staff, departments, or community organizations for further assistance
Qualification
Required
Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate's Degree program, Bachelor's Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred
Preferred
Prioritize tasks and manage a busy workload effectively
Stay calm and courteous under pressure
De-escalate individuals in distress
Communicate clearly and give directions confidently
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and attention to detail
Work independently while maintaining focus on consumer service and office efficiency
Multilingual skills are preferred but not required
