Responsibilities

Works under the immediate direction of the principal of the school
Assists the principal in the administration and professional leadership of the school
Assists the principal in directing the school in harmony with the policies of the board of education and the direction of the superintendent
Cooperates with the principal and district staff in implementing the prescribed district curriculum and in improving the instruction within the school
Assists the principal with student discipline, attendance, and other student related issues, and maintains appropriate documentation
Enhances school climate by dealing effectively with student, parent, and community needs and concerns
Attends and supervises school activities and meetings as assigned
Assists in job performance evaluations of classified and licensed employees in accordance with district guidelines
Performs additional duties as assigned

Required

School leadership licensure or evidence of enrollment in an administrative licensure program
To be selected, applicants must finish their administrative program prior to August 1, 2026
Current educators license
Three years successful experience as an educator
