Define and document/communicate business requirements
Analyze scope and resolution of medium to large size Operations Management (OM) and development requests
Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues and help develop innovative solutions
Perform complex conceptual analyses

Qualification
Required
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
2+ years of experience working in negotiations, mediations, and / or arbitrations; preferably in the health insurance business
2+ years of experience analyzing and solving problems
2+ years of experience using claims platforms such as UNET, Pulse, NICE, Facets, Diamond, etc
Proficiency using MS Excel (data entry, sorting/filtering, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
Reside within the state of Massachusetts
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy
Preferred
1+ years of experience in health care claims recovery
Understanding of medical coding methodologies
