The role involves installing and testing structured cabling systems, including Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables, as well as other network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Pull, terminate, and test Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables
Install cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc.)
Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms
Review job documentation, including:
Floor plans (equipment locations)
Reflected ceiling plans
Conduit call-outs
Wall elevations
Signal flow diagrams
Cable pull schedules
Qualification
Required
Pull, terminate, and test Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables
Install cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc.)
Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms
Review job documentation, including: Floor plans (equipment locations), Reflected ceiling plans, Conduit call-outs, Wall elevations, Signal flow diagrams, Cable pull schedules
Regularly stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop
Use hands for handling tools and typing
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally
Specific vision abilities: close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Comfortable using power tools
Hard hat with chin strap
Safety glasses
Steel-toed shoes
Safety vest
Cable pulling and termination
Punchdown (66 and 100 block)
Structured cabling
Fiber optic handling
Positive attitude and strong communication skills required
