Firscal & Business Analyst
The University of South Florida Libraries is seeking a Fiscal & Business Analyst to manage the USF Foundation’s Fund Management processes. The role includes reviewing fund setups, maintaining the fund management system, and providing training and customer service related to fund management.

Responsibilities
Foundation Fund Management – New Funds – Review all gift agreements, grants, Scholarship criteria worksheets, and Fund Data Forms to make sure complete and accurate and ready to be processed. Works closely with Central Records for fund setup and gift moves where necessary. Work with Development Officers and other Foundation staff to be certain donor intent is fully captured. Once fund is established review for complete for completeness and accuracy
Foundation Fund Management – Existing Funds – Assure excellent customer service by handling inquiries by USF Faculty, staff, administration, Development Officers and other Foundation staff quickly and completely. Interpret and enforce Foundation policy, including grant exceptions when appropriate. Resolve issues with other Foundation staff when circumstances cross departmental lines. Review changes to funds for fund names, organization codes, signers to determine if appropriate. Facilitate purpose change process
Maintain and monitor the Fund Management system. Manage general accounting functions such as journal entries, transfers, gift moves, and account reconciliations. General necessary reports form system when needed. Coordinate with departments to close fund and transfer remaining balances and notify Central Records
Work with auditors, both internal and external for documentation about funds signers, changes, and reports. Usually connected to donor intent
Present Fund Management information in training sessions to educate outside departments on USF Foundation policies and procedures. Maintain training materials to be sure up to date for any procedure or system changes
Provide customer service related to fund balances, history, purpose and signers and other duties are assigned by the Controller and/or CFO. Meet with departments on a regular basis to review funds for accuracy and current information and help to maintain good working relationships

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities and 0-2 years of fiscal related work experience
Bachelor's degree in no specific required field and two years of fiscal related work experience
Four years fiscal related work experience
