Responsibilities
Support senior attorneys in structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of real estate transactions, including financing, acquisition, development, and joint venture matters
Conduct due diligence and coordinate closing processes for complex real estate deals
Prepare and review key transactional documents such as loan agreements, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and joint venture agreements
Advise clients on real estate and financing matters, delivering practical, business-oriented guidance
Collaborate across practice groups, including corporate and tax, to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients’ real estate projects
Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through responsiveness and high-quality work
Qualification
Required
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
2+ years of substantive real estate transactional experience in debt and/or equity transactions
Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in real estate financings, acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leasing, and joint ventures
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Collaborative mindset, professionalism, and enthusiasm for client service are essential
Preferred
Prior experience at a large law firm or sophisticated real estate practice is highly preferred
