JBS USA is dedicated to providing the best products and services in the animal feed industry. They are seeking a full-time 2nd shift Feed Mill Technician responsible for manufacturing and shipping animal feed while ensuring compliance with specifications and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e. grinders, batching scales, mixers, feed cleaners, pellet mills, coolers. Samples and receives ingredients by truck and monitors ingredients inventory levels

Manufacture feeds to ensure that they meet specifications and food safety requirements

Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands

Keep accurate, legible records

Perform housekeeping tasks, maintain a clean workplace

Required

Must be able to read/comprehend English and authorized to work in the U.S

Good math skills

Good mechanical aptitude

Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Computer knowledge

Monday – Friday, occasion weekend work may be necessary

Any other duties assigned by management

Preferred

Prior experience in feed milling

Ideal candidates should have above average skills in teamwork, decision making, taking responsibility, and integrity
