This role involves performing inventory counts, inspecting food loads for quality, and maintaining safety standards while working independently.

Responsibilities
Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile product quantities
Inspect incoming and outgoing food/produce loads for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
Operate a forklift to move, organize, and verify product
Document inventory and inspection results using computer systems
Identify discrepancies, report issues, and support continuous improvement efforts
Assist with cross-training in other warehouse tasks as needed
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety guidelines
Qualification
Required
Previous inventory or quality inspection experience in a food, produce, or warehouse environment required
Forklift experience required
Strong math skills and ability to perform accurate counts
Computer-savvy—comfortable using basic software, data entry, and documentation tools
Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and cross-train
Ability to work in varying temperatures (produce environment)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
