Responsibilities
Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service
Lead and direct a team of installers, assigning tasks, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and quality workmanship
Read and interpret blueprints and coordinate project logistics
Ensure proper installation techniques are used for various fence types including wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental fencing
Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications
Track progress and provide updates to management
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3+ years of related experience
Proven ability to lead and motivate a crew
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, and post hole diggers
Ability to read blueprints
Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and alignment of fence components
Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
Commitment to safety protocols and practices to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 – 70 pounds
Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold
Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 5:00PM; additional work, including on-call, may be required
Must maintain a satisfactory background record
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be able to travel out of town as needed
