Reviewing building and zoning permit applications for compliance with the Township Zoning Code
Preparing correction letters, notices of violations, and stop work orders
Working closely with violators to resolve issues amicably whenever possible
Acting as a liaison to the Historical Commission, Historical Architectural Review Board, and Zoning Hearing Board
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or its equivalent
Valid driver's license in good standing
Prior municipal experience
Working knowledge of zoning and codes enforcement
Assertive and self-confident
Ability to handle confrontational situations
Empathy and communication skills to build trust and long-term working relationships
Analytical, detail-oriented, and thorough
Preferred
Post-high school education
Experience with stormwater management practices
