Building robust accounting processes and systems for our clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or something similar
3 years of experience as an accountant
5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a startup environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Focus on the quality of work as well as client relationships
Ability to work through client requests involving bank and credit card reconciliations
Ability to work through client requests involving general ledger account reconciliations, especially high-risk balance sheet accounts
Ability to work through client requests involving revenue recognition: prepaid revenue/deferred revenue/unearned revenue
Ability to work through client requests involving prepaid expenses
Ability to work through client requests involving COGS, inventory, and purchase orders
Familiarity with tech stacks (Ramp, Stripe, bill.com, etc.)
Ability to process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ability to support 1099 and W9 processing
Ability to produce financial reports
Ability to review bookkeeper tasks
Ability to produce tax-ready end-of-year reports
Strong finance-based analytical skills
Ability to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for enhancing clients' efficiency
Strong working knowledge of software and AI
Proficiency in G-Suite, QuickBooks online, Bill.com, Expensify + Ramp
Ability to use Zoom and other video conferencing tools to facilitate client meetings
