Nowadays is the first AI platform for planning corporate events, aiming to simplify the process of bringing people together through automation. As a Founding AI Engineer, you'll be crucial in developing and scaling AI systems that enhance the event-planning workflow.

Responsibilities

Build and scale AI systems that automate our event-planning workflow end-to-end

Develop and scale AI agents for auto-emailing, calling, web scraping, and deep research

Improve accuracy and reduce hallucinations across our LLM-powered features

Design and implement scalable AI workflows using modern LLM frameworks and tools

Work with real customer data to identify automation opportunities and validate AI solutions

Build evaluation systems to measure and improve AI performance over time

Partner closely with product and ops teams to understand pain points and ship AI features that matter

Shape our AI/ML architecture and practices from the ground up

Required

Experience building and deploying AI / LLM systems in production

Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)

Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and techniques to improve LLM accuracy

Experience with AI agents, tool calling, and autonomous systems

Comfort with full-stack development and shipping features end-to-end

A bias toward action—you like moving fast, experimenting, and iterating based on real-world results

Excitement about pushing the boundaries of what AI can automate in complex workflows

Preferred

Experience building AI web agents or browser automation systems

Zero-to-one AI product development experience

Familiarity with evaluation frameworks and AI observability tools

Published research or contributions to open-source AI projects
