This role involves managing and performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, with a focus on residential systems and generator services, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and providing high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

Understanding and working with electricity, electrical systems, motor control systems, and process control instrumentation

Conducting maintenance, service, and repairs across a range of areas including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical systems

Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment to ensure proper function and safety

Performing light maintenance tasks on electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC/R units

Supporting the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

Inspecting electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects and ensuring compliance with safety standards

Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions, particularly in lighting circuits

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent qualification

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Experience with generator systems

Extensive knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems

Physical capability to perform the job duties and availability for overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Well-organized with strong task prioritization skills
