Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design process, from UX flows to polished UI, delivering experiences that delight customers

Partner directly with Outset’s founders to shape product direction and design strategy from the ground up

Work incredibly closely with design and research leaders at some of the world’s biggest brands , building products that directly impact how they innovate

Translate customer needs into elegant, impactful product solutions with speed and precision

Move fast — balancing high-quality craft with rapid iteration

Champion the customer perspective in internal decision-making, helping the team prioritize what matters most

Establish design systems, patterns, and processes to scale as we grow

Required

5+ years of product design experience, ideally at startups or scrappy teams where you wore many hats and often did what might traditionally be considered product work

Proven mastery in UI/UX design, with a portfolio that demonstrates taste, craft, and execution speed

Strong product sense — you instinctively know how design decisions shape outcomes and customer impact

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to concisely explain tradeoffs and decisions

An executional spirit — you want to make the design a reality fast, no matter what it takes
