Responsibilities
Help with the close, journal entries, GL, etc
Capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, the NAV, etc
Assist with daily P&L reporting process (confirms, booking trade activity, derivative settlements, payments)
Cash, trade and position reconciliations (products include equities, futures, swaps, options, FX and other derivatives) with counterparties and administrator
Frequent communication with fund administrator
Assist in other processes relating to month-end close
Invoice review and wire entry
Assist in preparation and review of audited/unaudited financial statements
Assist with preparation and review of regulatory reporting requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or accounting
2 – 5 years of relevant experience in the accounting field
2-4 years of audit (Big 4/top 10 highly preferred) OR fund accounting experience
