Purchasing Specialist -FFUN Motor Group

FFUN Group is Canada’s fastest growing motor and recreational group retailer, and they are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to connect vehicle owners with their dealership. In this role, you will source, evaluate, and purchase inventory while building relationships with suppliers and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Purchase from online auction platforms and local in-person auctions

Use public listing sites to find cars that fit with our company needs

Create new local relationships to acquire inventory

Establish and maintain contact with suppliers and maintain adequate stock levels

Conduct a valuation process to determine market value, negotiate prices and transportation arrangements with sellers/suppliers

Meet with sellers to negotiate final purchase price while providing excellent customer service

Work with accounting team for B2C payment

Ensure delivery and intended disposition

Assist with remarketing wholesale inventory - maintain accurate inventory counts, work with marketing to list units, assist in assessing vehicle value, maximizing return and time to market

Required

A strong performer with excellent attention to detail

Personable and adaptable

Knowledge on reconditioning costs

Daytime, evening, and weekend availability as needed

Comfortable working in all conditions (indoor and outdoor)

Knowledgeable about vehicle makes and models

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Has experience and has a love for sales + buying

Previous auction experience is preferred
