Our Blood Institute is dedicated to saving lives and is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join their Strategic Software Solutions team. This role involves planning, designing, and implementing test plans and scripts for software projects, ensuring that the end products meet quality standards and user expectations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for strategic software projects

Work alongside members of the Strategic Software Solutions team to execute and validate test cases based on quality requirements

Identify and document defects, and recommend changes to quality guidelines

Ensure the end product meets minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly

Provide familiarity of all aspects of Quality Assurance testing of software, including Unit, System and Regression testing

Perform testing in various software and reporting systems to validate user expectations and requirements

Provide quality testing throughout the software development life cycle

Assist to achieve overall project success during any point in the product's development life cycle

Communicate effectively with all members of the Strategic Software Solutions team in a professional environment

Required

High school degree or GED required

Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing

Experience working through the software development life cycle application design, development, and deployment

Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications

Knowledge of Agile methodology for software development

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

A record of successful delivery to meet organization timelines

Strong analytical and problem resolution skills

Prioritized time management skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Ability to document procedures and policies
