Responsibilities

Handles normal engineering problems in their discipline without assistance
Uses broad technical knowledge, evaluates options, applies sound judgment, & adapts standard methods to project conditions
Works independently on multiple projects, managing several mid-size projects or major portions of larger ones with minimal oversight
Takes responsibility for complete systems or project packages from early design through final documents
Delivers clear, accurate drawings, models, and calculations that tie in well with other disciplines
Addresses RFIs, site questions, and field conditions that require engineering judgment and adjusts designs when real-world constraints shift
Hands off drafting, modeling, and simple calculations to junior staff when appropriate and makes sure the work is tracking in the right direction
Communicates directly with clients, contractors, vendors, and officials on technical topics related to their scope, while keeping the PM or Discipline Lead in the loop for anything official
Takes feedback well, learns from misses, and steadily sharpens technical and communication skills
Brings steadiness when projects get busy, communicates clearly in tough moments, and helps keep clients and contractors grounded
