LTCE Systems Analyst (Salesforce Grant Management System)

Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and implements Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, Lightning components, and automated workflows, to support grant management and related business processes
Defines and documents business rules and technical requirements for Salesforce applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices
Assists in the development and implementation of goals, priorities, and policies relating to District-wide application development and management
Provides technical guidance and support for Salesforce-based grant management solutions, including user training, troubleshooting, and best practices for system configuration and workflow automation. Ensures successful implementation by coordinating with stakeholders, managing project timelines, and maintaining data integrity across Salesforce environments
Designs, develops, tests and implements new systems to meet user requirements and needs
Directs the work of programmers in the development, testing and implementation of complex programs
Gathers and analyzes information regarding user systems and requirements; conducts feasibility studies and develops system, time, equipment and cost requirements; develops or modifies automated systems to fulfill those needs using computer generated techniques
Confers with user division staff regarding assigned functional program areas
Assists in the development and implementation of goals, priorities and policies relating to District-wide information management
Conducts special studies and projects involving administrative, organizational management analyses related to telecommunications, and network and multi-user data systems; prepares and presents recommendations and reports on system use, budget projections, and system designs and procedures
Maintains current knowledge of technology and new computer user applications
Oversees the staff and activities of assigned projects
Collaborate closely with the selected vendor to design, configure, and implement the new Salesforce-based grant management system, including applications, workflow, and automation to support the full grant lifecycle (application intake, review, award, compliance and), ensuring alignment with District requirements and best practices
Define and document business requirements and technical specifications or provide feedback to outside vendor, for grant-related Salesforce solutions
Integrate Salesforce with multiple data sources (e.g., SQL Server, SharePoint, cloud services) to ensure secure and scalable grant data management
Provide technical guidance, user training, and troubleshooting for grant management workflows
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure user-friendly designs that meet accessibility standards (including ADA compliance)
Administer Salesforce environments, manage security settings, and oversee system upgrades for grant-related modules
Develop disaster recovery plans and maintain data integrity across Salesforce and integrated grant systems
Lead project teams, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of grant management solutions
Stay current with emerging Salesforce technologies and best practices in grant management and CRM development
Qualification
Required
Equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university with major coursework in computer science, mathematics or a closely related field
Two years of experience in systems design and analysis, systems programming, network and systems administration and/or data and voice communications
Preferred
Two years of experience in CRM development
5–7 years of experience with Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and administration
Experience implementing Salesforce for grant management, including integrations with financial and compliance systems
Strong UI/UX design skills, including ADA compliance for government applications
Advanced problem-solving and data management and data analysis skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of government grant processes, procurement, and vendor management
