Media Buyer
Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking a Media Buyer responsible for developing and implementing media plans and negotiating across various markets. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing media trafficking, and analyzing media performance to optimize campaigns.

Responsibilities
Responsible for negotiating and buying all media (Radio, TV and digital platforms) across multiple markets, local, regional, and National when needed
Ensure all negotiated advertising opportunities (both planned and urgent opportunities) are leveraged to the corporation’s fullest advantage; including but not limited to billboard, print, radio, television and digital
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategic media plans
Assist with maintaining productive and long-term working relationships with all media vendors & platforms and internal team members
Responsible for coordinating and communicating with the Traffic and Creative teams to ensure that assigned media insertion dates are met
Manage all external media trafficking
Analyze media performance and adjust buys to optimize campaign effectiveness
Assist with crafting media outlet POV’s for Marketing and Advertising leadership review
Assist in market landscape research to identify current and new advertising opportunities to reach target markets
Promote positive public relations
Approve media invoices
Reconcile media placements ensuring campaign accuracy
Assist with maintaining media flowcharts and budgets with senior advertising management
Track offer results and provide the information to management, including program/promotion evaluation
All performance and behavior must adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
Must complete all required SGC Training programs within the timeframe assigned

Understanding and working knowledge of creative file sharing systems. Must gain a comprehensive understanding of the corporation’s media strategy based on approved budgets
This team-oriented role requires the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and execute within tight deadlines
Ability to track jobs with project management software/programs
Must be highly creative, outgoing team player, and able to work well at a high pace under tight deadlines
Must have be able to work effectively with in an individual single or team environment
Will be required to work some evenings and weekends so scheduling flexibility and dependability required
Qualification
Required
Must be 21 years of age or older upon employment
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Media, Advertising or relevant marketing degree is required
Minimum one-year related media buying and/or planning experience
Experience in buying print, radio, out of home and paid digital media including paid search and paid social
Working knowledge of media buying software is a must
Minimum one to three years' experience in media buying software
Must have an advanced understanding of industry standard file formats
Must have media trafficking experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Word and Excel is required
Must be able to communicate strategies effectively, both in writing and verbally
Superior analytics and organizational skills required
Must possess excellent communications skills
Must have the ability to write and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner within the specified guidelines of the Interactive Marketing position
Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the Casino for extended periods
Must have excellent hearing abilities
Preferred
Experience with TV buying a plus
Experience in Strata/FreeWheel is preferred
Knowledge of and an understanding of google analytics is a plus
Gaming industry experience a plus
