Responsibilities
Receiving of daily linehaul
Scanning freight (small boxes and packages) and sorting to routes
Dispatching daily routes to drivers, ensure they are picked up and delivered in a timely manner
Training drivers on proper delivery procedures and delivery application
Attention to accuracy to avoid mis-sorts
MUST be comfortable working independently in office setting
Provide Excellent Customer Service
Picking and Packing 10-30 orders per day
Qualification
Required
Must be motivated and willing to learn
Must have great communication skills (writing, speaking, e-mails)
Logistics experience
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to use and understand MS Office & as well as other programs & apps (I.e. Google Drive, Whatsapp, etc)
Ability to work independently in a rapid and changing environment
Must have knowledge of CT and NY region
Proof of Identity and authorized to work in the United States
Must be at least 21 years old
Must be able to speak English
Driver's License (Required)
Preferred
Dispatcher /operations experience a plus
Dispatching: 1 + years (Preferred)
