Outside Sales Representative

The Building Center, Inc. is one of the largest non-publicly traded lumber and building products dealers in the US, founded in 1977. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to maintain and grow the customer base through effective sales management techniques including prospecting, account qualifying, and customer follow-up.

Responsibilities

Formulates accurate and complete project-specific customer information with regular site visits, plan review, and in-depth customer discussion to enable the correct product and product application
Implements customer-specific pricing, partnering with inside sales support, operations teams, and vendor resources to secure business and obtain profit and sales goals
Offers full scope services, product upgrades, and extended product lines, optimizing customer account penetration and customer objectives
Educates customers on new products, services, and industry trends
Responsible for regular account evaluation, determining revenue and profitability
Performs other duties, as assigned
