Responsibilities
Own monthly financial reporting and ensure accuracy of all financial statements
Present financial performance, explain variances, and recommend improvements
Lead annual and multi-year budgeting (P&L and cash flow)
Maintain compliance with U.S. accounting and tax regulations
Manage annual audit and external auditor relationships
Establish and enhance internal controls
Oversee insurance renewals, contract reviews, and risk mitigation
Manage banking relationships
Oversee short- and long-term cash forecasting
Manage AR/AP, creditworthiness, and timely collections and payments
Qualification
Required
5+ years in a Controller or senior accounting role
Experience in a small-company environment within a technology, components, or manufacturing-adjacent sector
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Skilled in product costing, inventory valuation, and management accounting
Comfortable working autonomously while partnering with an international parent organization
Hands-on operator who can manage day-to-day accounting while contributing strategically
