The Sanneh Foundation is dedicated to empowering youth and improving lives through various community programs. They are seeking a Program Coordinator to support multiple AmeriCorps VISTA positions focused on youth development, workforce training, and nutritional services, among others.

Responsibilities

Improve food and nutritional service processes to decrease food insecurity
Develop new systems to increase capacity for providing healthy food and meals at new locations and for food rescue program
Identify new and existing partners for food distribution initiatives for the new location in Minneapolis
Increase program awareness and participation in food and nutrition services at the new location
Build sustainable partnerships with local businesses for youth workforce development
Streamline internal processes to boost program efficiency and impact
Create career development and employment trainings and materials for youth
Empower youth with essential skills and resources for career success
Strengthen the Girl’s First program's capacity to offer empowering sports opportunities
Increase program participation and awareness through community outreach
Connect local organizations, schools, and families to the program
Contribute to the development of new initiatives for program growth
This role will develop models for engagement and participation around activity creation and leveraging new and existing resources for youth programming
Work closely with Conway programming staff and our Advancement team to leverage partnerships and community collaboration
Co-build a learning-based curriculum embedded within various programs at Conway Community Center
Create an engagement plan and identify best approaches for securing in-kind and partnership-aligned programming site locations or in-kind materials
Document planning and preparation process for program participation and registration and engagement

Required

18 years of age (no upper limit)
Pass a national service criminal history check
Hold one of the following citizenship statuses: U.S. citizen, U.S. National, Lawful Permanent Resident Aliens and persons residing in a state that have the following legal residency classifications: Refugee, asylum or asylee, temporary protected status, or deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) status

Segal Education Award - $7,395 (before taxes, based on Pell Grant) is distributed via MyAmeriCorps.gov following a full term of service.
Sanneh is able to offer a housing, nutrition, or education stipend totaling up to $1000 per month to our full time VISTA members.
