Required

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a major in a computer field including two (2) courses in programming (6 credits) and two years of satisfactory, paid experience performing applications and/or web-based programming for computers
Four years of satisfactory, paid experience performing applications and/or web-based programming for computers and either an Associate's degree from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a major in a computer field including two (2) courses in programming (6 credits) or completion of two years (60 credits) of education at a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university, including eighteen (18) credits in a computer field including two (2) courses in programming (6 credits)
Satisfactory, paid experience performing applications and/or web-based programming in excess of the minimum requirement for 1 and 2 can be substituted for college on a year-for-year basis. Each year of experience acts as substitution for thirty (30) college credits, including nine (9) credits in a computer field and three (3) credits in a course in programming
