Chief Financial Officer
Nagel Services is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial operations and ensure organizational effectiveness. The role involves managing accounting practices, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with various departments to maintain financial integrity.

Responsibilities
Financial/HR Reporting
Prepare and analyze financial reports for all related companies
Summarize financial information for presentation
Prepare financial forecasts/projections
Prepare reporting for weekly finance and operations meetings and attend meetings
Prepare and analyze design and construction job reports
Manage accounting for real estate assets and projects, including investor and lender reporting and all required compliance
Manage intercompany accounts and transactions
Manage project receipts, investments, rental income, and other AR
Prepare weekly cash flow reports
Prepare bimonthly invoicing
Manage vendor payments bimonthly
Reviewing payments owed to subcontractors with the Director of Operations, Company President, and Project Managers
Manage payroll including review of weekly time and expense reports and preparing employees’ compensation biweekly
Regularly consult with the tax accountant to review monthly financials and prepare accounts for annual tax return
Assist in implementing office policies and procedures and establish and maintain accounting standards and procedures
Assist project managers in job reporting and accounts receivable
Regularly attending and actively participating in meetings
Maintain a positive presence within the organization (i.e. participate in team events, volunteer, etc.)
Ensure ongoing professional development by attending training, webcasts, seminars, and conferences and reading other relevant literature related to accounting, business administration, human resources, benefits and/or project management
Maintain an active membership in one or more professional or nonprofit organizations or groups
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Business, or related field
Proficient with various software including but not limited to Sage and Microsoft Office
CPA license anticipated
Real estate accounting experience required
Punctual, regular, and predictable attendance
Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
Must possess a current and valid driver's license
The ability to effectively work independently with little to no supervision
Preferred
Knowledge of Ajera/Deltek is a plus
Maintain an active membership in one or more professional or nonprofit organizations or groups
