Responsibilities
Improve and streamline R&D planning, execution, and governance processes
Develop clear, practical documentation, playbooks, and operating guidelines for project teams
Provide centralized support and governance guidance to research and innovation teams
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Lead reviews and approvals for changes to project scope, schedule, and budget
Support project closeout activities and transition initiatives from pilot to scale
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other teams to align funding and long-term investment planning
Contribute to enterprise innovation strategy initiatives and support cross-industry collaboration events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of relevant experience in program management, R&D operations, or innovation environments
Strong understanding of project governance, compliance, and portfolio management practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
Preferred
Master's degree
Experience in utilities, energy, or infrastructure sectors
Familiarity with project portfolio management (PPM) tools
Experience supporting cross-functional and external partnerships
