The City of Saint Paul is seeking a Deputy Director of Communications, responsible for identifying, generating, coordinating, and supporting communications efforts for the Mayor’s Office in support of the Mayor’s agenda. This position will report to the Executive Director of Public Affairs and Communications.

Responsibilities

Draft communications materials for use across multiple channels, including weekly newsletters, social media, talking points, and other communications content in alignment with the Mayor’s agenda

Develop attention-grabbing social media content that chronicles the Mayor’s day-to-day activities and keeps the people of Saint Paul in the know

Maintain an editorial calendar aligned with the Mayor’s staff and the City's public information officers
