Express Employment Professionals is looking to hire a PLC Programmer/Industrial Maintenance Tech for a full-time career. The role involves working within an automated packaging facility, focusing on troubleshooting PLC issues and performing electrical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Design/Upgrade a PLC-based control system for an automated packaging line/and or facilities equipment

Generate electrical drawing packages

Troubleshoots PLC systems

Makes minor software changes when directed

Maintains strong knowledge of NEC and local codes

Maintains thorough knowledgeable of all plant operational systems in order to aid in troubleshooting

Will provide daily support to the Production and Maintenance departments for troubleshooting electrical issues as they arise

Required

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

2+ years of PLC experience

Able to accurately read/follow blue prints and schematics

PLC troubleshooting experience

Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills

Experience with Servo Drives and motors, experience with 3-phase electrical systems

Ability to operate shop equipment and powered vehicles or capability to learn

Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Excel

High School diploma or equivalent

Able to pass a drug test and background check

Preferred

Allen- Bradley PLC is preferred
