FieldAI is transforming how robots interact with the real world by building reliable AI systems for robotics. The Business Development Representative will focus on lead generation, multi-channel outbound outreach, and qualifying leads to support the sales team in driving business growth.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify new leads aligned with FieldAI’s ideal customer profile
Build and maintain a steady, high-quality outbound pipeline across priority verticals
Use data, market signals, and experimentation to refine targeting and improve conversion
Execute high-volume outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn/social, events, and cold calling—maintaining a high bar for personalization and quality
Craft compelling outreach that ties FieldAI’s autonomy platform to the prospect’s business outcomes (safety, productivity, cost, visibility, risk reduction)
Test and iterate on messaging and channels to continuously raise response and meeting rates
Run consultative discovery to uncover use cases, deployment context, stakeholders, and buying intent
Qualify leads through effective questioning and light data analysis to ensure strong funnel fit
Address first-line objections and clearly communicate FieldAI’s value proposition
Deliver concise, compelling first-touch presentations that highlight FieldAI’s differentiation
Set crisp, well-qualified appointments for Account Executives and ensure smooth handover with full context
Coordinate early onboarding alignment when needed (end users, technical stakeholders, project scope)
Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records (Salesforce), including notes, qualification details, and next steps
Participate in sales meetings and contribute insights to lead-gen strategy, ICP refinement, and competitive positioning
Stay current on FieldAI products, market trends, and competitor activity in autonomy/robotics

Required

1–3 years of B2B sales, BDR/SDR, marketing, or customer-facing experience (software, robotics, or automation a plus). Or current experience as PE or PM within the Construction Industry
Proven track record prospecting for business and generating pipeline
Ability to uncover and understand customer needs through structured discovery
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Goal- and results-oriented mindset; optimistic, proactive, and adaptable in fast-moving environments
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Analytically driven; comfortable using metrics to improve performance
Collaborative team player and self-starter

Preferred

Experience selling into construction, industrial, energy, logistics, or robotics ecosystems
PE or PM construction experience
Familiarity with autonomy, robotics, AI/ML, perception, or field-deployed technology platforms
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (or a similar CRM)
Prior experience in a high-growth startup / scale-up environment
Comfort giving lightweight demos or structured product overviews on early calls
