The Regional Trade Compliance Officer will oversee local trade compliance, ensuring adherence to export control, sanctions, and customs regulations while leading a team and developing compliance policies and training programs.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for local trade authorities and business management, ensuring compliance with export control, sanctions, and customs regulations across all local operations

Develop, maintain, and implement trade compliance policies, procedures, and standards, including product classification, export license applications, and SAP GTS compliance processes

Monitor, manage, and mitigate trade compliance risks, conduct local trade reviews and audits, manage permits and authorizations, and report compliance updates to stakeholders

Implement trade compliance training programs, raise awareness, and provide guidance to local teams and management, maintaining internal resources such as SharePoint and trade handbooks

Lead and develop Local Trade Compliance Officers (LTCOs), ensure effective use of trade compliance systems, and deliver on budget, targets, and performance objectives
