NEOGOV is seeking an After School Aide to work in the Expect Excellence program. The role involves leading and assisting in programs for elementary-aged children, ensuring their safety and development, and engaging in educational and recreational activities.

Responsibilities

Assist in facilitating a variety of small and large group activities each week

Ensure that the site is kept clean, organized, and free of litter

Communicate with the Program Administrator about participant’s experiences and report concerns including identifying and responding to camper behavioral issues

Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports

Qualification

First Aid certificationCPR certificationChildrenValid Driver’s LicenseCommunication skills

Required

Upon hire, completion of First Aid and CPR certification. (Classes provided)

Education classes or experience in camp, youth programs, recreation, working with children, or in a related field

Possess a Valid Driver's License

Possess a High School Diploma or its equivalent

Must have the physical ability to lead and participate in camp activities which include, but are not limited to swimming, team building initiatives, physical games, and activities
