Responsibilities
Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses
Preparing subpoenas, litigation documents, and analytical memoranda
Reviewing and assessing factual and legal components of claims
Engaging with in-house teams, experts, TPAs, opposing counsel, and witnesses
Taking and defending depositions
Supporting trial and arbitration preparation: motions in limine, jury instructions, trial briefs, exhibit lists, and witness prep
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of litigation experience
Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to collaborate
Active California Bar membership
Must live anywhere in California
Preferred
insurance/ERISA/benefits matters experience
