Responsibilities

Assist in working on litigation matters at all states of litigation

Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation

Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on litigation matters

Opportunities to handle court appearances and conduct depositions

Communicate with clients, including providing regular reports updating clients on the status of their cases and providing recommendations regarding litigation and case resolution strategy

Required

JD from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice in the state of Texas

2+ years experience

Superior communication, writing, analytical and research skills

Preparing discovery requests, objections and responses to discovery requests, and motions and briefing relating to discovery disputes

Preferred

Experience with litigation involving general liability, construction, premises, products, transportation, employment, or insurance preferred

Handling court appearances and depositions a plus
