CES Credit Union in Utica, OH is looking to hire a full-time Head Teller - Lead Customer Service Rep to provide assistance to our members and leadership to our banking staff. The role involves training new tellers, assisting members with financial requests, and ensuring excellent customer service while handling important banking duties.

Responsibilities

Ensure our members are satisfied by showing our staff how to provide excellent service
Train new tellers on our policies and procedures
Helpfully assist members with their financial requests
Listening to their needs and tailoring services accordingly
Describe various loan and credit options and explain the terms of service
Offer additional lending products and savings tools that could benefit our members
Remain calm and professional as you use your analytical problem-solving skills to competently resolve the issue
Act as the vault teller
Take accountability for counting, packaging, and controlling money
Complete night deposits
Perform administrative tasks such as reviewing legal documents, obtaining credit histories, and compiling forms
Attend informational seminars to further your knowledge of financial regulations

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Lending AND cash handling experience
Customer service AND sales experience
Experience in a leadership role
Proficiency with administrative tasks such as data entry and record management
Ability to use office equipment including fax machines, printers, and adding machines
Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Excellent math skills

Preferred

Previous banking experience would be a plus
