Responsibilities

Provides input into the development of annual plans, goals and objectives for Donor Recruitment; communicates goals and policy changes to staff
Working with Director, develops and implements blood donor group retention and growth plans, including developing strategies to increase sponsor penetration and loyalty
Promotes donor and coordinator relations by managing donor/coordinator complaints/feedback through cooperative work with Donor Services staff and Recruitment staff
Prioritizes sponsor and corporate needs and offers creative solutions necessary to resolve them
Maintains a high level of exceptional experience and interdepartmental cooperation and respect through effective communication and problem solving
Meets operational recruitment and collection goals for mobile donor groups
Supervises Donor Recruitment daily sales activity to ensure processes are effective, efficient and maximize productivity of sales staff
Monitors daily and weekly Account Representative activity to ensure departmental quality and quantity standards are being met and superior customer service is being given to donors and staff
Audits CRM system to assure Account Representative commitment to excelling in customer relationships and operational data integrity
Accountable for human resource leadership of direct reports to include coaching/feedback, performance evaluation, hiring, discipline, and termination in collaboration with Human Resources and in compliance with administrative policy
Assists Director in the provision of effective sales training programs (internal or external) to ensure staff competence; coordinates staff orientation, training and ongoing development to include service excellence/Donor Experience tools
Provides staff with market/account intelligence to assist with effective strategy and planning actions
Motivates and encourages staff through frequent contact and communication of patient product needs
Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to discuss performance and changes, and provide direction to staff
Develops an effective work team
In collaboration with the Director, develops and maintains job descriptions, performance standards and tools for monitoring staff performance, territory management, and coordinator engagement
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or related subject required
Proven track record of sales success
Thrives in a self-motivated and self-directed work environment
Must have excellent analytical, planning, strategic and decision-making skills
Ability to be resourceful, flexible, adaptable; possess excellent problem-solving skills
Demonstrates poise and willingness to confidently engage and interact with a wide variety of audiences
Must possess excellent time management and organization skills, and able to manage detailed information
Skilled in persuasive communication, being able to be direct in a respectful manner
Excellent ability to communicate, encompassing written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to prepare information needed for meeting agendas, educational and motivational presentations, blood drive promotion, trainings, and analytical reports; and the ability to communicate and deliver that information effectively
A current valid driver's license and good driving record required

Preferred

1-3 years direct business to business sales experience preferred
Prior people leadership experience preferred
