Responsibilities
Contact the appropriate carriers including railcars, trucking companies
Adjust customer orders when necessary
Reroute shipments
Processing returns in order to return products to appropriate location
Track and update shipments in customers portal
Communicating with external and internal customers regarding shipments
Monitor and communicate with management inappropriate charges from carriers
Communicate transportation cost with customers
Maintain and create reports pertaining to transportation costs in Excel
Provide management with weekly carrier "on-time" data
Process payments for carriers
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Microsoft Office Excel
Excellent communication skills both written or verbal
