Flightcheck Commercial Aviation was founded in 2004 and is now one of the largest Commercial Line Maintenance providers. They are currently seeking an experienced Lead Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician to supervise and perform advanced sheet metal repairs, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations while leading a team of skilled technicians.

AerospaceService Industry

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor sheet metal team; assign tasks and ensure quality
Perform complex sheet metal fabrication and repairs per technical drawings
Maintain compliance with FAA, OEM, and safety standards
Inspect completed work and document maintenance actions
Perform Line Maintenance duties other than Sheetmetal
AOG travel on an as needed basis

Qualification

A&P certificationAircraft sheet metal experienceLeadership skillsTechnical data interpretationCommunication skills

Required

Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must have a valid A&P and State Driver's License
Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
Must have 5+ years aircraft sheet metal experience; 2+ years in a lead role
Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
Must have strong technical, leadership, and communication skills
