Responsibilities
Evaluate customer creditworthiness through financial statement analysis, cash flow review, and trend assessment
Apply conventional and alternative credit arrangements (letters of credit, drafts, deposits)
Advise customers on significant credit issues and recommend solutions
Establish and track KPIs to measure credit process effectiveness
Compile and analyze results; provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Communicate risk insights to collections and partner teams
Provide coverage for team members during absences and contribute to team initiatives
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, Oracle 11i; SAP preferred)
Ability to interpret credit reports and apply credit scoring models
Knowledge of bankruptcy laws and proactive creditor strategies
Awareness of how collateral positions affect cash flow, credit terms, and collection strategies
Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to standard accounting/finance practices
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in credit analysis or financial risk assessment
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, Oracle 11i; SAP preferred)
