Business Development Representative
Rico Manufacturing, Inc. is a manufacturer of Custom Design Lift Trucks and Military Tire Carriers, currently seeking a Business Development Representative. The role focuses on driving market awareness and share through direct sales and networking, managing prospecting activities, and developing customer relationships to support sales growth.

Responsibilities
Resourcefully pursues prospective customers through research, cold calling, follow-up and campaigns
Develops or re-establishes relationships with customers to build awareness of RICO solutions and understanding of potential opportunities
Utilizes cold calling and emails to prospective and new dealers to establish or rejuvenate the relationship with RICO and educate them on our products, solutions and capabilities
Regularly researches contacts and markets to identify new prospects, verify information, and keep databases current
Manages the RICO rental fleet/Used Equipment through direct contact and networking with target customers to ensure achievement of sales quotas and utilization metrics
Qualifies leads and assigns follow-up tasks to the sales team for appointments, further discussions and quotations
Collaborates with sales coordinator to help with follow-up and direct efforts and campaigns
Executes campaigns and short-term blitzes as directed to develop contacts, information and leads in specific areas or industries
Achieves weekly / monthly call / contact objectives and records inbound marketing leads into Salesforce
Perform activities to support development of the sales pipeline to drive sales growth
Documents all activity in Salesforce and utilizes reliable system to manage prospecting, lead and sales cycles
Maintain related processes and procedures, including required documentation, to order management and customer communications to ensure accuracy
Qualification
Required
High School Degree or equivalent
Minimum 2 years professional experience required working in a business-to-business sales or customer service environment
Outstanding phone and verbal communication skills, using active listening, and writing skills are essential
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to identify solutions and take appropriate action to resolve moderately complex issues
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and perform numerous tasks simultaneously is needed
Excellent attention to detail and demonstratable follow-up skills are required
Motivated and energetic self-starter with a positive, inclusive, and creative outlook and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment is vital
Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate skill level required including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Intermediate advanced knowledge of CRM software, ideally Salesforce
Proven ability to manage internal and external client expectations is mandatory
Preferred
Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (Syteline) experience
Industrial experience in customer service or sales function preferred
Experience with ZoomInfo or other comparable research or data mining programs
