Director of Retail Marketing
Gameday Spirit Fanstore is a leader in collegiate licensed apparel and is seeking a Director of Retail Marketing to develop and execute marketing strategies across various sales channels. This role involves leading a marketing team, collaborating cross-functionally, and analyzing performance to ensure effective brand execution.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated retail marketing strategies across e-commerce, physical retail, and in-venue/event environments
Build market-specific marketing plans that align with sales goals and seasonal priorities
Ensure consistent brand execution across all customer touchpoints
Lead, hire, train, and develop a high-performing marketing team
Establish clear expectations, ownership, timelines, and accountability
Create systems and processes that support consistent execution and scalability
Work closely with Retail, Operations, Buying, Events, and Leadership to plan and execute campaigns
Collaborate with the Director of Partnerships to support university-specific initiatives and coordinated plans
Ensure marketing execution aligns with operational and sales realities
Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance across channels
Build KPI dashboards and reporting for C-Suite and senior leadership
Use data to optimize campaigns, promotions, and resource allocation
Manage marketing budgets and resources with discipline and accuracy
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Evaluate ROI and adjust strategy as needed
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in retail marketing, including both online and in-person sales
Proven leadership experience managing marketing teams
Strong background in market planning, campaign execution, and performance tracking
Experience collaborating across departments and supporting partner-driven initiatives
Comfortable building and presenting KPI reports to executive leadership
Experience managing budgets and delivering results within financial constraints
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience in sports, collegiate, or licensed apparel is a plus
