Responsibilities
Assist in documenting risks identified through audits, assessments, and incident reviews
Track remediation progress and update risk status in the central risk register
Assign and follow up with risk owners to ensure timely closure of action items
Coordinate with process and control owners to gather updates and evidence for compliance activities
Follow up on incomplete documentation and delinquent responses related to user access reviews and third-party risk assessments
Assist in collecting and organizing evidence for internal and external audits
Participate in walkthroughs and control testing activities
Support updates to the IT GRC framework and cybersecurity policy documents
Help align risk documentation with NIST CSF 2.0 and SEC disclosure requirements
Qualification
Required
Open to undergraduate students; preference for graduate students
Major in Information Security or Cybersecurity
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Teamwork and collaboration abilities
Initiative and problem-solving skills
Ability to commit to hybrid work
