Responsibilities

Direct the activities of the accounting department (in accordance with GAAP guidelines) including personnel assignments, month end close, budgets, forecasts, and continuous improvement programs within the department. Coordinate accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions

Review and approval of daily/monthly over-time revenue recognition

Direct and approves the payroll activity in the Finance Department

Ensure timely, accurate submission of all corporate reporting requirements

Monthly completion of variance analysis, evaluation of financial performance and identification of cost over-runs or cost reduction opportunities including product costing, department budgets and inventory value

Maintain actual costing system and internal controls

Participate in the implementation of the SAP ERP system

Support to other departments to facilitate process improvements as related to info systems and business process reporting

Participate & contribute as member of the plant management staff including decision making, policy development, strategic planning and plant functions or presentations

Develop, through team participation, methods and procedures to increase productivity and improve service
