Asst Branch Manager - Banking Bilingual
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager. In this role, you will assist the Branch Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency while driving business development efforts and staff management.
Responsibilities
Operational Management: Assist in the management of branch operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, while maintaining operational efficiency
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate branch staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth among team members
Customer Service: Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, resolving escalated issues, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Business Development: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop strategies for growing the branch's customer base, increasing deposits, and expanding loan portfolios
Sales Leadership: Drive sales goals and branch performance by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and promoting bank products and services
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all banking laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) policies, know-your-customer (KYC) protocols, and other regulatory requirements
Financial Oversight: Assist in the management of the branch's budget, financial reporting, and expense control
Staff Development: Help in recruiting, training, and performance management of branch employees, ensuring staff are well-equipped to meet both individual and branch goals
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients and key community stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of progressive experience in the banking sector
3-4 years of experience in a management or leadership role within banking, with a strong focus on operations, customer service, and sales
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in banking software and systems
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus.)
Bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Hindi, Farsi, Tagalog, Arabic, or Spanish is a plus!
